    About This Show

Walden has a pretty good life. Happily married to his mannequin wife, he works his pigeon children into the ground and feasts upon their eggs for sustenance. Walden is doing everything he's supposed to do – so why does he feel so empty? Can his fantasies about his pigeons sustain him? Or must he face up to a great hurt done to him in the past? The Pigeon Factory is a darkly absurd one-man show that explores work, family and finding purpose in a broken society. 'Ingenious, consistently entertaining' **** (Irish Times).

"The first 5 minutes of this show left me absolutely baffled, but im so glad I stayed for the remaining 55. A decent into madness once reality has you so defeated you need to create your own. Asking what truly comes first the pigeon or the egg. This show presents an important commentary on self care, love, pride, ego and surrender. And what happens when your own mind rebels against you."

"The Pigeon Factory is a magnificent one-person show that kept me laughing throughout its tight 60 minute run time. From the moment I entered the theater, I was struck by the elegant, simple, and atmospheric design. Writer-actor Aaron O’Neill strings a taught story that lulled me into a state of blissful ease, before shocking me with a devastating bit of theatrical destruction that I dare not spoil! Cheers to great sound design, beautiful lighting, and a wonderful bit of theater reminiscent of Dostoyevsky's Notes From Underground. I am so glad that this was the first show I've ever seen at Edinburgh Fringe! Please go support this darling show. You won't regret it!"

"Shows like this one are exactly why I love the fringe. A delightfully weird premise beautifully executed. This is dark comedy done very right, I laughed a lot while also feeling genuinely disturbed at points. The amazing writing is greatly complimented by the wonderful performance by the actor. Really impressed by this one. Possibly my favorite show I've seen so far"
