    About This Show

    Noah's in charge, and you're all animals!! Embarking on his first cruise ship contract, newly single Noah flees his old life in search of stardom on the ark. Finding himself caught up in cosmic plans much larger and apocalyptic than he could have anticipated, he must find ways to keep the existential dread (and animal couples) at bay. Nathaniel Jones writes and performs in 2 BY 2, a Noah's Ark character comedy about a cappella, the apocalypse, and stepping up at work. Directed by award-winning director Sam Smith.

    "Jones is clearly in his element in this camp character comedy, a style that represents a major shift from his meditative, folkloric work Sing, River. He revels in God’s apocalyptic world and renovation plans, embracing the tempestuous waves, the thunder and lightning and the howling gales with song, dance, humour, interaction and participation. All of which requires enormous energy and vitality, which he possesses in abundance."

    "If you are looking for energy, feeling and a little bit of madness, then this is the show for you. No one wants to be too middle ground and the 7th favourite fringe show you can't recall the name of in 2 years time. For those in the know - this will be your no. 1 favourite and you won't forget it. Nathan is a captivating Noah who makes you forget about your life outside of the death-defying Ark, and will make you wish you'd thought about which animal pair you feel a part of before your life was at stake. Appeals to an audience of comedy loving, free and open minded people - this show is the tonic you absolutely need to slot into your Edinburgh diary. Can't recommend enough."

    "The craziest most pop cultured, surreal hour of your life in all the best possible ways! This show had my jaw sore from laughing and this was our 4th fringe show of THE DAY. With our particular performance having a smaller audience best believe Nathaniel performed like Noah’s cruise was taking place in Wembley stadium and I loved EVERY. MINUTE.OF.IT! The iconic lesbian toucan added that little extra flair for us providing perfectly timed music, voice of god and everything inbetween. It was a pleasure to be an animal on Noah’s Cruise line and I begggg you buy your tickets now, if your fun you won’t regret it!!!"
